Empowering Women, Building Resilient Communities
EducateHer is a transformative initiative by the STEAMpact Foundation dedicated to empowering women of all ages through insightful education and practical learning experiences. Designed to address the unique challenges women face, the program equips participants with the knowledge and skills essential for personal and societal change. By fostering lifelong learning, EducateHer inspires women to become leaders, advocates, and agents of change in their communities.
Workshops
At the heart of EducateHer are interactive workshops that connect women with experts across various fields. These sessions cover critical topics such as financial literacy, mental health, leadership, and women’s health and hygiene, fostering direct interaction and impactful knowledge-sharing.
EducateHer 2024
In May 2024, we hosted our first EducateHer Initiative. We had a transformative workshop, empowering 55 women aged 10 to 55+ with essential knowledge on reproductive health and financial literacy. The event, held in Cacuaco, Luanda created a safe and engaging space for women to learn, share, and grow together.
Participants explored topics such as menstruation, early pregnancy prevention, and economic independence through hands-on sessions led by expert facilitators. The workshop fostered open dialogue across generations, equipping women with practical skills to navigate challenges in their personal and professional lives.
The impact was profound: women left inspired, informed, and ready to apply these lessons to uplift themselves and their communities, embodying the EducateHer vision of building resilient, empowered women.

Health and Hygiene Awareness: Empowered women with essential knowledge to improve their personal health and reproductive well-being.
Economic Empowerment: Trained participants in financial literacy, soap-making, and crafting reusable menstrual pads to foster economic independence.
Mental Health Support: Addressed topics like grief, postpartum depression, and early pregnancy prevention, training local women to become certified mental health counselors.
Building for the Future
EducateHer plans to expand its impact through the construction of a Community Resource and Training Center in Kwanza Sul. This hub will serve as a central facility for training programs, counseling services, and leadership workshops. By combining education, counseling, and economic empowerment, the initiative seeks to uplift over 150,000 community members and establish a sustainable model of empowerment in Angola.
